WE LOOK AT THE WORLD OF ART AND HISTORY AS AN EXTRAORDINARY EXPEDITION FULL OF KNOWLEDGE, FUN AND CAUSALITY. WE INVITE YOU!
Educational activities for elementary school grades I - III last up to 90 minutes.
Applications for classes in the 2023/2024 school year (first semester) will be accepted starting September 18 at telephone numbers (17) 749 38 87, (17) 749 38 95.
Below the class topics you will find basic practical information.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
CASTLE BESTIARY
In the castle's nooks and crannies we will find, name and together tame even the strangest beasts.
The classes are combined with an art workshop.
CLASSES ARE HELD IN THE CASTLE. CLASSES ARE NOT COMBINED WITH A TOUR.
ABOUT PAINTING FOR THE YOUNGEST
What is painting? Who is a painter? What can a painter paint with? What does a painter need, but can't buy it in a store? Answers to these and other questions will be found at the Castle.
The classes are combined with an art workshop.
CLASSES ARE HELD IN THE CASTLE. CLASSES ARE NOT COMBINED WITH A TOUR.
CASTLE LEGENDS
What is truth and what is legend? During the class we will tell you the most interesting castle legends we will show you how their heroes looked like.

WHERE ARE THE COATS OF ARMS?
During the class we will talk about what a coat of arms is and what it means. Together we will find various coats of arms in the castle interiors, and at the end we will create our own.
The classes are combined with an art workshop.

ROW IN THE CLOUDS
Why is the balloon stuck in the former Orangery? Can a boat fly? Who was an aeronaut? You will learn all this during a talk about the patron of the Traditions Education Center.
The classes are combined with an art workshop.

DRY GARDENS
What are dry gardens, we will learn about the oldest of them and the traditions of their creation. During the workshop, everyone will be able to create their own magical dry garden.
The classes are combined with an art workshop.

THE PERFECT COOK
We will tell you about the history of the castle kitchens, what and how they cooked, how they seasoned and where the spices were hidden. Could anyone have become a cook at the castle? We will talk about old kitchens and dishes, and together we will think about how kitchens and dishes changed.

AT THE DUCHESS'S BALL
Did everyone have to dance at Princess Isabella's ball? In this lesson, we will learn about fashionable dances from the Duchess's time and learn one of them ourselves.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
- classes can only be arranged by phone at the Museum Education Department at telephone numbers, (17) 749 38 87, (17) 749 38 95, and then confirmed by filling out the registration form

    1. CONTACT FORM

     

    - We strongly urge students to prepare for their visit to the museum.
    - Classes are held Tuesday through Friday, starting at: 9:00 am.
    - The duration of classes is not rigidly defined, usually ranging from 60 to 90 minutes. Classes for younger students are usually combined with movement activities and art workshops. If you have questions, please ask them at the time of booking. We do not have the ability to supplement classes with workshops on the day of implementation.
    - The fee for the classes is PLN 10/person, guardian PLN 1.
    - The guardian is required to stay with the students for the entire duration of the class. It is not possible to leave the group in the care of the Museum staff (1 chaperone per 10 people).
    - Taking photographs during the class is possible, but only in consultation with the instructor. Please do not take posed photos during class.
    - During the class, you can not eat (including chewing gum) or drink. Exceptions are made for the health of the participants, we ask for the group supervisors to report this as far as possible before the class.
    - during the class we do not visit the entire exhibition, this applies to both the Castle and the former Orangery.
    All individuals are welcome with us. If they have special educational needs, please contact us so that they will enjoy their visit. If the participation of an additional guardian or parent is necessary, please let us know. There is a passenger elevator and a convenient ramp in the former Orangery building, and we can adapt the guidance, workshop forms and class time to the needs of the group as appropriate.
