Educational activities for grades IV - VIII of elementary school last up to 90 minutes.

GREEK CLEANUP AT ŁAŃCUCKI CASTLE
Using the facades and decoration of the Castle and the former Orangery as an example, we will learn and consolidate the Greek orders.
The classes are combined with an art workshop.

WOODEN CARPETS
Inside the Castle, we will walk through unusual wooden carpets. We will look at intricate puzzles, learn about the marquetry technique and design new patterns together.

THE POLISH NATION AND ITS TRAGEDY DURING THE SWEDISH DELUGE
Lancut Castle is a place where we can touch history. During the class we will discuss the most important issues and figures related to the Swedish Deluge. We will talk about the role and importance of Lancut and its owner in these events.

During the class we will talk about the types of weapons, how they are divided and how they have changed over the centuries, and the important role they play in patriotism.

FAMILY TREE
Family, family, ancestor, surname, name, coat of arms are the keys to learning about genealogy. Together we will learn how to build family trees, count their age and read by genealogical markings the most important events recorded on them.

ŁAŃCUT - A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CITY.
We will tell you how our city was founded and who its owners were. You will find out how many castles there were in Lancut and learn about the history of Queen Elizabeth.

We are waiting for you with the story of the old kitchen. You will learn about the dishes that were eaten at the palace and what they were prepared from, the vegetables and fruits that the castle gardeners grew. We will identify spices and you will learn how to use them in the kitchen.

The lesson will be devoted to the history of court theater. Explain the basic concepts and figures that influenced the establishment and development of the theater. We will present the historical background of the theater during the Enlightenment. The establishment of the National Theater and the most important figures associated with it. The role of the Lubomirski and Potocki families in the development of the Theater. In the second part of the lesson animation activities - vivid images.

We will talk about three hundred years in art. We will talk about stylistic transformations in Baroque, Rococo and Classical interiors, among others.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
- classes can only be arranged by phone at the Museum Education Department at telephone numbers, (17) 749 38 87, (17) 749 38 95, and then confirmed by filling out the registration form
- We strongly urge students to prepare for their visit to the museum.
- Classes are held Tuesday through Friday, starting at: 9:00 am.
- The duration of classes is not rigidly defined, usually ranging from 60 to 90 minutes. Classes for younger students are usually combined with movement activities and art workshops. If you have questions, please ask them at the time of booking. We do not have the ability to supplement classes with workshops on the day of implementation.
- The fee for the classes is PLN 10/person, guardian PLN 1.
- The guardian is required to stay with the students for the entire duration of the class. It is not possible to leave the group in the care of the Museum staff (1 chaperone per 10 people).
- Taking photographs during the class is possible, but only in consultation with the instructor. Please do not take posed photos during class.
- During the class, you can not eat (including chewing gum) or drink. Exceptions are made for the health of the participants, we ask for the group supervisors to report this as far as possible before the class.
- during the class we do not visit the entire exhibition, this applies to both the Castle and the former Orangery.
All individuals are welcome with us. If they have special educational needs, please contact us so that they will enjoy their visit. If the participation of an additional guardian or parent is necessary, please let us know. There is a passenger elevator and a convenient ramp in the former Orangery building, and we can adapt the guidance, workshop forms and class time to the needs of the group as appropriate.
