MUSEUM ACCESSIBLE

WE WELCOME EVERYONE TO OUR MUSEUM. EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, THEMATIC TOURS AND EVENTS ARE PREPARED WITH THE SPECIAL NEEDS OF OUR GUESTS IN MIND.

The Museum-Castle in Lancut invites everyone to visit.
You can also see our Museum on your computer screen
You can come to us or come and see all of our exhibitions, large Park and gardens.
The museum is several buildings: Castle, Stables and Coach House, Orchid House and Casino.
At the Castle in Lancut you will see the beautiful rooms where the former owners of the Castle and their guests lived. You will also see the Ballroom and the Theatre
You can also visit the former Stables - there you will see places for horses, i.e. stalls.
Today the animals are no longer there, as it is a museum.
Next door in a small stable you will see two gray horses, their names are Allan and Melek.
At the Carriage House you will see old vehicles - carriages, carriages, sleighs and many others. If you're willing, and it's not raining or snowing, you'll be able to take a ride in a horse-drawn vehicle.
Orthodox Art. Here you will see an exhibition of icons, or religious paintings.
You can also visit the Orchidarium. There you will see many plants in large greenhouses. The most important are orchids.
d. Clerks' Casino
Here on the first floor you can see a painting exhibition, and on the first floor you can see former apartments and a hairdresser's salon.
Here you will also see military uniforms, decorations and weapons.
The classes are conducted by experienced museum educators trained in working with people with intellectual, motor and sensory disabilities. We strive to make our Museum as accessible as possible. And if you need it, two orthopedic wheelchairs and stairlifts are available in the Great Hall to enable communication between floors of the Castle. The wheelchairs are available free of charge, with no advance reservation required. There are orthopedic wheelchair accessible toilets in our buildings. Guide dogs are welcome. Remember to bring the proper documents and show them before the tour begins.
The Museum offers the opportunity to organize guided group tours and educational activities. Our staff offer support in moving around the Museum and provide all necessary information. Meetings of organized groups are held by prior telephone appointment.
